Join us for a Domestic Violence Awareness Seminar Presented by YWCA Union County in conjunction with the Elizabeth Police Department. You will learn how to identify red flags in a relationship, how to help a friend in trouble, how to make a safety plan, and how to access valuable resources in your community. Refreshments will be provided. Members of Elizabeth PD will be available after for a Q&A session. All are welcome to attend!

Spooky Strides for Strength was a fun collaboration between YWCA Union County, Partners, The Safe House, Family Service League, Essex County Family Justice Center, and Passaic County Domestic & Sexual Violence Center. We were thrilled to join together to host a 5K Run & Walk on October 27, 2024, at the South Mountain Reservation, to raise money to support victims of domestic violence across our agencies.

In celebration of our upcoming move into our new building following a fire in 2019, we are planning our annual gala – Building New Beginnings – on Thursday, October 24th at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, NJ.
