We all are being impacted by COVID-19 and it is changing the way we all are living our lives and working. In light of this, the YWCA Union County takes the health and safety of our staff, clients and the community very seriously. We are taking a number of steps with that goal in mind.
We are cancelling or postponing all public events including our Annual Meeting, the Domestic Violence Symposium, and other planned gatherings until at least the end of April. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation until then and abide by all state and federal recommendations to reduce the spread of this virus.
We are providing services at this time, but we are considering ways to serve our clients that keeps both them and our staff safe. We are working with the state to implement recommendation that will accomplish this.
We have equipped our staff with hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes and spray in addition to our usual cleaning practices. We thank our staff for their steadfastness and leadership as we deal with these challenges.
Any member of the public intending to visit our facility should call our office before coming on site. If you have traveled outside the country or have been on a domestic flight, or if you or anyone in your household has come in contact with someone who is under investigation for exposure to COVID-19, we respectfully ask that you not visit our facility. When you call, you will be asked a series of questions to determine if it is advisable for you to visit.
We thank you for your understanding and patience during these challenging times.
