Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect
If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, please call the New Jersey Child Abuse Hotline at:
1-877 NJ ABUSE (1-877-652-2873)
If the child is in immediate danger please also call 911.
Everyone in New Jersey is considered to be a mandated reporter, so any person having reasonable cause to believe that a child has been subjected to abuse should immediately report this information by calling the hotline. You do not need proof of the abuse and the report can be made anonymously.
